And play him where?

Natural back up for Yaya/Barry/Silva - very versatile player but big and strong to boot. Just glad the fookin rags haven´t got him coz that would have been the league down the pan

Well something must be up. It's little more than two days of the transfer window, and so far we managed to bring in one player. One. And we seemingly can't finish a deal for a very low profile player who wants to come here, won't sign a new contract with his current club, who would cost us very little in both transfer fee and wages.

I base my reaction on what Mancini said from the beginning, that we were going to to our deals quickly and that we needed around five players in order to be able to compete in all the competitions.

No I don't think we are at the edge of bankruptcy, but something is preventing us from making any serious signings.

I hope something will happen these last couple of days which will make it all clear, but I'm beginning to doubt it.
