Demichelis, Lescott or Nasty?

Demichelis is the best of the three. Love Nasty and think he'll be a top CB in a few years, but right now, there's no comparison.

For me it has to be Nastasic. He's young, agile and he's very good on the ball. The modern centre back involves doing the good stuff as well as just hoofing the ball forward and that's where Nastasic excels in! Not to mention he's a very good defender with an excellent header success rate which was the best in the League for a defender last season. Lescott is good but he's getting on a bit and the less we speak of Demichelis the better...

Too many people forget how competent a defender lescott is. Maybe he's not best suited to this system but the way some people talk you'd think he was titus bramble's less talented brother.

He's becoming a liability in my opinion. Way too slow for the high line we play and he just doesn't look like a footballer with the ball at his feet.

As a squad player he's capable. He'll most likely leave in the summer but until the he has his part to play if were to progress in all 4 competitions.

Demichelis by a mile, much better with the ball at his feet and starting attacks. Missed him a lot the past two home games.

Do you really think he wud have dealt with the threat of Suarez and the speed of sterling and coutinio any better than jolean - he has been badly exposed on numerous occasions diving in this season already.

Vinnie also got done a few times in the l/pool game - the one in the 2nd half where sterling cud have scored- intelligent players will get away from defenders who continually dive in-FACT !!

He more i think about DM- we have 2 right footed c/h and 2 left footed c/h.
Surely he was only bought for cover for vinnie coz he's right footed, so why wud MP pick a right footed c/h to play left side when we have JL or nasty- the right footed player always looks uncomfortable playing left side and the pairing never looks balanced.

In my eyes he was bought as cover for vinnie - only this !!

90% of teams play with two right footed centre halves.
