Great start by City but please no one tell me Demichelis lack of speed has not cost us so far.....Roma have just ran by him on a few occasions! Come on City....Lots of the ball but still not looking dangerous enough in front of goal....we cant get away with these short, sideways passes all the time, against top teams in Europe....frustrating....hope we come out on fire in 2nd half.....

Two issue,
1) Kompany allowing him to run behind. Should have just followed Totti's run. He is at fault.

Not sure what MDM did wrong? What do you want MDM to be 10 yard directly behind kompany and leave a giant gap btw the Zab and him?? Sure Mangala could have gotten to it with his pace, but mistake is on Kompany.

2) Yaya is neither closing down on the man with the ball nor is he tracking back to defend. Fernando or any other DM would have track Nainggolan instead of being so far up the field. Need Fernando back and to bench Yaya to send the message.

Kompany has to go to Naingolan, as no one was covering between the lines all game and they really shouldn't have a threat in behind. Martin simply falls asleep and doesn't notice the danger untill it's too late, he's not doing anything where he is except playing him onside. Nothing to do with his pace, he simply doesn't read the run, which is unusual for him. He did an excelllent traffic cone impression in the second half though, perhaps it was a satirical dig at Yaya.

Vinny makes mistake and its all MD's fault . Get fucking real and your blind faith is a fucking joke.

Kompany took an unnecessary risk and we got burn for it. If he tracked Totti it would have been 4 defenders vs 2/3 Roma attackers. Nainggolan was not a danger that far up the pitch, should have followed Totti
