Frankly he is embarrassing himself in from of millions of viewers. You would think retirement would have to be better than that. If he knows he has gone then that's all it should take. I wonder if god knows how many thousands a week has something to do with the decision not to.
A lot of old pro's find it hard to make the decision to retire or step down a level,they think ''I had a bad game,I will be ok.'' They suddenly realise every game is becoming a bad game and the penny drops.
We know his legs have gone, we know he's not going to be able to match up 1 on 1 with someone like Rashford.

Why the fuck did it take Mr Dead so long to haul him off? Yes, a pittifull defensive display by a player not fit to grace league 2, but Pelligrini (AGAIN) has let the club down with his useless analysis of a game. just get this clown away from our club ASAP!!

He was fantastic in his 1st 2 seasons but he's way passed it now. Should have got rid start of the season and have Denayer in the squad.

We sent Denayer out on loan and gave Demichelis a 12month extension - I've no idea whether that was Pellegrini's or Txiki's decision but it stank at the time and looks even worse with hindsight.

Exactly we should have used this season getting Denayer up to speed and he could hardly have done any worse than MDm
