Messi 16, Aguero 15, Owen 17, Shrek 17, Pele 16, Ladyboy 16 plus many other top players started at the top level very young. If you are good enough your old enough.

These are out and out strikers or wingers. These players eventually learned to drop deep and supply but most of them had exceptional talent in one area. Playmakers like Ozil, Pastore, Schweinsteigger and co all began to make their debuts around 18-19.

I'll be fuming if he goes into this game with anything less than our best eleven.

This.

Now is not the time to be fucking about with the starting 11.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Suarez is in Spain with the Spanish under 20's squad

Nice to see Denis training with the first team squad (inside city). Think they got a little rough with him at times. The step up is coming.

Kid looked like he can hold his own in training, and absolutely cuts up --along with Roman-- the other youth sides. Had a free kick goal earlier this year that was SICK. Shows a goal touch to go with his vision.

In my limited views of him, he seems ready with vision and creativity, but needs a bit more on the ball technical skill against world class players. That will come. Would love to see him loaned to a Championship side next year.

That said... anybody watching Jordy? Amazing year, goal-wise. Body, technique, etc. reminds me of Adebayor. Ade's not my favorite striker, but no one can deny his skill. If we could develop a top-class striker like that, in-house... I'd be ecstatic. Really hope he can keep progressing.

Yes he's super promising but best not to get our hopes up too much yet. He could be a Ball/Bunn/Evans/Miller or a Sturridge/Guidetti. He looks better than Devante Cole though.
