I’m certainly not judging him on this game. Personally I think he’s a terrible player. Has the first touch of an elephant and always look uncomfortable on the ball. He just happens to be demonstrating that perfectly tonight.

We will have to agree to disagree, for his size and over the years, he has improved on his first touch and developed well into the target striker role. Plus he can roam wide and is a decent passer, and great finisher.

Simple as that for me.

I think he was good enough to be integrated at the time, his career changed, he now plays for an excellent Lyon team (who he was part of when they put us out of the Champions League).

Again, I'm never gonna judge a player based on one mistake in international appearances like you have.
