DENMARK
One of the fortunate host sides that get to kick off this tournament at home essentially, with the game taking place in Copenhagen. The Danes famously won the trophy back in 1992 but have only been to the knockouts once since. Looking at the group they will fancy their chances to make it through once again. They’ve already improved on Euro 2016 where they didn’t even qualify for the tournament. They are another side that come into this tournament in great form. They finished above England in the nations league last year and are currently another side unbeaten in 2021, including a draw versus Germany:
They currently sit top of their world cup qualifying group with a 100% record, ahead of Scotland, Israel and Austria.
Familiar faces from the Danish squad include; Schmeichel (Leicester), Joachim Anderson (Fulham), Vestergaard (Southampton), Christiansen (Chelsea), Hojbjerg (Spurs) and Eriksen (Inter Milan) amongst other well-known players plying their trade across Europe.

FINLAND
Finland are one of the beneficiaries of the expanded tournament, qualifying for their first ever major tournament. If they manage to progress from the group, it will be a huge achievement for them, as they are without doubt the underdogs of Group B. They had a solid 2020 winning 5, losing 3, including a 2-0 win over France. However 2021 has been poor for them, failing to win any of their 5 games:
However despite that form they sit 3rd in their world cup qualifying group with a chance to leapfrog Ukraine with their game in hand.
English football watchers will be familiar with Teemu Pukki who scored 26 in 41 league games for Norwich this season, Glen Kamara was part of the Rangers squad that won the Scottish title and Bundesliga watchers will be familiar with star keeper Lukas Hradecky.
