Back on topic, I remember this and had some first hand experience of it if you can call it that. My uncle, who was really my dads best mate, lived then in Willesden Green and it turned out backed onto where Nilson lived. I remember it was a large house split into flats and had a shared garden with a pond in it, and beyond that garden is what turned out to be where he lived. It was early 1982 and my dad took my down to visit him and City played Spurs, so he took me. There was a stink around the place that you just couldnt place but it stank like fuck. A few weeks later they found remains in all the drains and sewers around there.
