Depressed

Mate I feel exactly the same as you.The idea of Bellamy in a City shirt fills me with dismay.
But i've just decided that to go with it as it's going to happen(Hughes has already to sign him in the summer, according to Bellendamy himself),as is the RSC deal, assuming the constant speculation is correct.and of course,Hughes having bought him for BBurn..
Two players costing top money, both injury prone and hardly classed as prolific, being bought to pull Hughes out of the shit hole he's dug for himself.
He'll sink or swim by the signings he makes over the next 20-odd days.

And I don't know about you-but I'm absolutely sure that if Savage was five years younger he'd be looking to sign him for us right now.

But one thing is clear.IF he signs these players, they run true to form and end up in the treatment room with MJ,or IF they don't "do it" for him,the man is gone.

So I'll just sit and wait, back whoever comes through the "in" door at CoMs (yes-even that horrible little twat) and let nature take it's course.

Nothing else to do.

I hope you don't mind if I print this up and keep it in a glass case just incase horror of horrors it does happen and that twat does come! It might help me through it

i would rather GULP ..........have phil neville than bellamy lol
Now you're being silly! I'd rather have Harold Shipman as my mum's GP than have any of the chuckle sisters anywhere near God's own.

I'm hoping they might bring Shipman in as the clubs physio it might improve the mood around the place.

First of all I must have been asleep the day we signed Bellamy, remember him being linked by the papers though.

Second thing is if you think this is worse than the period which took place in the 90's then you need your head sorting out.

The problem we have is that we KNOW success is coming, the only problem is that we all want it now. It's like Christmas, we can't wait for it but it's still months away. So what do we do? We throw temper tantrums, throw our toys out of the pram and say it's the worst day ever, even worse than that day when Billy Jones stole our pocket money and threw our school butties into the lake. We know that's not the case though but we convince ourselves it is because we're spoilt.

Our club was pretty much insolvent, by rights we should be back in the shadows right now but we were lucky enough to be given another chance. A new life. This is the beginning of a long long adventure, one with many tears, tears of joy. Let us not ruin it by behaving like we have a divine right to be kings.

Totally agree ManCityX. Spot on.
