Derby and Forest both appoint new managers in one day, and two good managers too. Who'd have thought? Especially when they both play each other next weekend. I wish them both well - two famous old clubs with a great deal to live up to - I've got mates who support them, and living fairly close to both nowadays I go to watch both every now and then when City aren't playing - our six year old is showing a bit of a liking for Derby as well as City - he might need a bit of persuading to stay Blue eventually but if that's what wants to do long term I'd rather that than any of the Eatablishment (which ain't going to happen).

Rowett is a great choice for Derby. Unfairly sacked at Birmingham where he got them on a shoestring budget to 7th in Division 2, just 3 points off the playoffs. It's proved to be a big name as the club's new owners appointed serial failure Zola who has won 2 games in 18 and Birmingham have plummeted to 17th (8th bottom).

Warburton did a great job building on Uwe Rosler's brilliant work, getting Brentford up and prospering in Division 2. Taking Rangers into the SPL is still an achievement given the financial problems they had and Warburton didn't deserve the sack either.

This will be the 5th East Midlands Derby involving Derby and Forest where both teams have different managers. Maybe with a bit of stability they might do better. Whether they will get it from their Chairmen is another matter. Good luck to them.
I'd much rather go to away match at Derby or Forest where there's a good atmosphere rather than somewhere like Middlesboring.

What do you think Blues?

Forest will get dicked by Derby this weekend.

Warburton is an arrogant cockernee wideboy who was found out by Rangers.

What's Division 2? I know you could be old fashioned and call it the second division, but I've never heard it called division 2...

There's something about Rowett that I find unappealing. Maybe I'm just a cynic, but some of these managers get too cocky when they land good jobs. Shakespeare is the same, and so was Sherwood.
