This time round it's more shocking than usual mate. 'Boro v City wasn't selected as a TV game and remained on the Saturday - nobody could've expected the date of that game to move and there was no indication anywhere that it may move due to rearranged fixtures so fans were within their rights to get their travel booked to cater for a Saturday kick-off.

I had a hotel booked for Everton away about four years ago and it got changed to the night after because there was a cup reply Sky wanted to show so ours got bumped. Non refundable booking.

As long as you've already purchased and paid for your ticket, the club couldn't care less whether you attend or not... sad but true

It's a seasoncard, so I'm used to no one caring if I can make the game or not, but the halcyon days of 3pm on Saturday are long gone.

For those with Advance Train tickets - they should be changeable for a £10 fee + any difference in fare. Call the train company. Not ideal, but better than throwing them away.
