Derby County - Rooney leaves with immediate effect (p69)

Reports coming out now are suggesting further debts exceeding £50m. If there is a huge discrepancy between what the administrators find and the accounts as filed, this could yet end up as a criminal case, never mind a further points deduction.
 
I always remember when the master of football financing Simon Jordan had the Derby owner on Talksport about the Sale of the stadium all very jolly boys both chancers beyond belief but one thing that struck about it was it was pretty much a replay of the Bury situation which they had been raging about, but being mates counted so an easy interview was granted. Meanwhile Derby don’t own their own ground and the sharp bastard that owned them has a major say in their next reincarnation which shows you that FFP and football governance is fucked.

He could bunk up with Giggsy and they could reminisce about the good old days after lights out !
