Whatever happens I still want it to be in our hands after the game.

I would hate to be 2 in front and then lose. 4 in front would be better. We could seal it that day but if not then still in our hands.

I think the likelyhood of anyone being 9+ points clear going into this match is pretty far fetched but who knows. United will drop points and I'm sure so will we. We're matching each other punch for punch at the moment though so I think a lead of this magnitude seems unlikely.

We wouldnt have to be 9 points clear, if we went into the game with a 4 point lead, if we won on that day we would win the league, very realistic at the moment i think.

We would have to be 9 points clear, (10 depending on goal difference) to have it won before kick-off though. The OP was asking if we would have it sewn up by the time we play them.

Yep it would be nice to have it sewn up......................but we all know that is not going to happen.

Winning the league is not simple and easy - it will push us all the way both mentally and physically.

I have watched City for long enough to know what we get will be the hard way. But for some reason i am relaxed about this run in and this is the reason................

This is our first real tilt at the title in my lifetime and if we win it, great. However whatever happens...... i know ( and more importantly every other team knows ) we will be in for a shout of the title next season and the season after that etc etc.

So even if it is not this time.......... it will be our title some time soon.

"Ive said it all season, I think the league will be decided on this day, hopefully it wont and we have won it by then"

I was just suggesting that what he wishes (and I do too) is unlikely to be the case.

Away at Wolves or one of those awful times when another teams victory makes it for you - nah I'll have the rags at home EVERY time thank you very much.

The only way it could be bettered would be if Taggart's angry red head literally exploded when Aguero's 5th goal hits the top corner of the netting.

I can only hope that we go into that game 3pts clear so if the worse happens and we lose, we are still ok and not chasing with 2 games to go!
