Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

With all the various subtexts going on in this game (Manchester Derby, Pep vs Jose, Bravo in, Hart out) the one involving De Bruyne and Jose didn't even enter my head until today.

Last year when we played Chelsea first time around, De Bruyne hasn't joined us yet and by the time we played them again, Mourinho was gone. So this would have been the first time he played against Mourinho for City since Mourinho moved him on from Chelsea.

De Bruyne was as energetic and fired up as I've ever seen him in pale blue and I think he really wanted to stick it to Jose personally. He can have a bit of a laconic style in some matches but he was absolutely fired up on Saturday and playing with remarkable intensity, like a man possessed.

LOL. Love your description of the arsenal fan,s opinion..spot on,all the ones I know are so anti city and just talk in bitter bollocks style about the past.you are right,arsenal and their fans are pretty much irrelevant.

Have to love the media. Rooney actually got 6.5/10 in one paper, the same as Fernandinho! Blind got a 6!! Incredible. Even Lingaard got a 5 in one paper when I don't think he touched the ball more than 3 times!
