Derby post match thread 10/09/2016

We were so gooood totally bossed them, it resulted in them playing hoofball, if thats their plan for the season, then they will be lucky to be top half

Thought Silva, Dinho, Otamendi and De Bruyne were exceptional. Everyone else was good with the exception of Stones who was awful at times and Bravo who had an absolute debut from hell.

But overall buzzing. If we were more clinical we could have had a hatful on the counter.

Thought Stones played really well and can defend despite some said he couldn't

Utd were an insult to the tony pulis brand of attacking football they tried to utilise

I sat in their corporate bit today and whilst I had to keep quiet listening to their delusional rants as we mauled them first half made it all the sweeter.

To put it in context:
They are scratching around desperately trying to say that they deserve a point at home , whilst claiming that they are 'back to their old best' !
They are screaming about how unfairly they were treated, while missing the point that , when they were at their best, ( pisscan years) they simply won these games, (not unusually without some assistance from refs.)and would never have dreamt of being so thoroughly outclassed - especially at home , especially by little City
They are having a lot of difficulty dealing with where both clubs are and in which direction each are travelling.

What a day blues great performance, grafted their nuts off proud of the boys. Fans were superb did us proud! Me and my lad 8 years old watched it in a pub some sad rag poured a pint over my lad to sour the day some sad people out there.

Some very nice football, but we simply have to become ruthless in front of goal. Countless counters were spoiled by players making poor runs or delivering the pass at the wrong time. We will play far superior sides this season, so we should be using such games to hone our tactics and understand what to do and when. Moreover, why couldn't we play with more "dignity and honesty" in the second half? Shameful.
Eh? This a wind up? We're only 4 games in ffs!

Gesturing at cutting her own throat walking in the tunnel under S229 just before kick off. I hope she is okay okay now, but does anyone have the number of Surrey CC's Crisis Team just to be sure.

Typical United.
