These figures are bullshit. Loads of people saying what they would sell for - I have yet to see someone saying "I'll but anyones ticket for the match for £1000". No one is gonna out a grand into your hand for your ticket so it's all a bit academic.

I will buy your ticket for £1000 cash if you are interested?

Then flog it onfor £2000 :-)

Out of curiousity(might have already been talked about)..

If you was to sell your ticket for that amount, I presume it would be to someone you don't know..

How would you get your card back for the QPR game, which could be an even bigger game ?

say you lost your wallet get the card blocked then get a new card off the club

Doubt they'd do a new card for one game, probably cancel the card and give you a paper ticket.

But then wouldn't most people who sold thier ticket look to make that claim?

(I'm curious too)

If you think you can resell it for 2 grand you are dreaming

Just had an email from live football to confirm the sale of my two tickets in Colin bell level two, front row, exec seats, car park included. For £2400.00. they sold them for £2650.00 with their commission. Worst fear though, the buyer is from Ireland. Oh well pays for next years exec seat. Good business I think.

This is what happens when you let Supporters Clubs doll out derby tickets like confetti.

My Branch got just a handful. Lots of regulars have missed out. Besides, I don't think I know a Blue who would pay £1000+ for one. They'd resign themselves to watching on TV.

there are people who will spend that to get to the game not many city fans but certainly well healed southern red scum now imagine if i was to sell on my ticket in 110 to one of these guys he's going to stick out like a bacon butty with red sauce in a jewish temple not going to go down well with the chaps around him and when it kicks off i get a nice letter off mr fletcher telling me that my 30 year support is over, not worth it dont do it
