This formation will only work against a very shit team. we can not play ireland, swp, tevez, robinho, adebayor at the same time. this is the only reason that palace looked good last night. we need a better balance in the squad n that can only be achieved by playin de jong alongside barry. we need someone who will sit in the middle of midfield and break things up. People may say well thats barrys job but to many times against wolves and palace you will find him on the left covering for robinho when hes been attacking or on the right for someone else, this in turn leaves a huge void in the middle of the park and any team with a half decent midfield will run the game n cause us big problems. before slating me just look at this next time we play it n you will find out that im correct. we will get a game like portsmouth last season where we will destroy the team but most games it will do us more harm than good!!!!

With Distin not playing and no real cover for him. I can't see Piquionne or Smith really troubling the back 4 and Kranjcar looks really disinterested at the moment.
