Computer broke the other day and looking to buy a new one quickly, budget of £300.

Found this one that seems adequate <a class="postlink" href="http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5074543.htm#pdpPromotions" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/p ... Promotions</a>

Just thought I would ask on here if it's a good price or if anyone could link me to a better one as I don't know too much when it comes to computers.

Thanks in advance!

Good site for all specs of computers and worth a browse

Just general browsing mate and Microsoft Office, not interested in gaming on it or similar things.

Thanks for the suggestion Karlzberg, will have a look.

Whatever you get, if you let TCIB fiddle with it for 5 minutes, it will be twice as good.

Danamy has posted good links.

Why thank you kind sir.
It just involves updating drivers and adding a couple of patches that help performance of any win based os.
