Dewalt or Makita?

ive got the full makita lithium ion lxt kit and i would have them over dewalt any day, the 18v makita sds drill is excellent for the price.
combi drill 10/10
impact driver 10/10
18v grinder 8/10 battery life not long enough but still a handy tool to have
18v recip saw 9/10
18v jigsaw 10/10
18v torch 10/10
18v circular saw 10/10
18v metal cutter 20/10 sent from heaven for my job
18v sds 8/10 good for the money but not as good as a 24v sds
also makita is much cheaper and they sell tools body only so you save money on buying batteries on every thing.

Combi will go through harder materials with a hammer action. The drill driver is a posh screwdriver.

having used both over the years i have to say de walt are too bulky and heavy, makita are just right. i can see this getting like the barm or muffin thread.

always buy Bosch - all 110 v , even my cordless's are bosch - you just get used to them

Makita is now better than dewalt, dewalt used to be pro standard but is now diy.

Bosch is indeed superior... but has to be the pro blue range, green is diy standard.

I'm a joiner and have had my blue bosch cordless for 7yrs now, used daily and still workin perfectly
