I dont know about him! I like him and think he could be world class, but at the moment he is abit lightweight and from what i have seen of him which isnt much to be honest if the team isnt playing well he disappears, he doesnt seem to have that little bit of magic to nick a goal against the run of play or determination which i think is very important in the EPL for those tricky away games! And i dont think ribery is the answer either but i think we should go all out to sign robben proven in the league and is always a threat on the break plus would fit in with bellers roque petrov and lescott!lol

How do you know this? Doesn't that all depend on what most motivates him. Double his wages and he might be perfectly happy to miss out on one season of Chimps League. I know what I'd do in those circumstances. Only a twat would choose to sacrifice a double your money situation for the sake of a few games in the 10/11 Champs League. I'm not quite getting how it's a hardship for any of them to voluntarily forgo playing in one solitary tournament during one solitary season. Only one club at a time can win it anyway.
No doubt the sackcloth and ashes brigade will respond to this with their lil' ol 'Ciddy routine but I still maintain that this apparent top four finish imperative is a bit overplayed. Footballers may well turn us down but not for that reason alone.
Definitely don't want Di Maria here at city. Great player no doubt, but whether or not he has the ability to adapt to the physicality and pace of the league is still being questioned. Hes quite a tricky player but get a half decent defender on him and he will deadset shit his pants. Also plays on one foot, 90% of the time hes left foot, give him no space on his left and you shut down Di Maria. As stated above would much rather a player in the mould of a Vargas, big athletic wide player.
I really hope we get this guy, exactly the kind of player we need to go for, an up and coming world star looking to prove himself as one of the best in the world. Hopefully Carlos will have a quiet word this summer about how great we are and he'll be in sky blue next year. I think Petrov and SWP will be gone in the summer so AJ, Bellamy and Di Maria would give us excellent options out wide.
