Hi, I am not jus spouting rubbish here, I think i posted this a while ago but can't remember. About 2months back my Dad was playing Golf at Mere; Cook was there and is good friends with a few of the guys my dad was playing with. He told them that Diarra was nailed on, and that Hughes is in the market for a stirker and a centre back, at least. Let's just hope the only striker isn't RSC, cos whilst I think he is a decent player, we can aim higher now. But for those who don't want Diarra, I htink you just have to accept it, to be fair he will be a good addition to the team. Don't shout me down, I am not in the habit of making up stories, and i trust the source wholeheartedly. And before any smart arses say 'yeah cos he would say that to a stranger...' they aren't strangers...so yes, it is concievable that cook would disclose this info to these people. Lets just hope its Diarra plus a top top top class player.
