beyond it being a great typical city game, it was still a good afternoons entertainment.
I would agree if it wasn't for the last 5 mins.

It was like watching a great film with a shit ending

Yeah because of this I posted on another thread
Was in the Mancunian lounge on Saturday walked up to Peter Barnes and big Joe and politely asked for their autographs!

They were brilliant really nice gave autographs and posed for photos! Me and Joe look like SWP and Crouchie!!

Peter Barns in particular when I asked him for his autograph asked me what part of Wales Im from!

I was amazed told him most people think from my accent Im from Manchester but im actually from Wrexham. Said he could tell straight away.

That was it he started chatting to me like I was a long lost mate saying how he used to live in Wrexham when he was a youngster and that his Dad managed Wrexham FC etc!!

Turns out he actually used to go to my local with his dad when he was younger!!

Top bloke could not do enough for us!

Got photo with Vladmir Weiss and his autograph as well!

Top day out shame about the result!!

Agreed - even when Burnley went 2 up and we were playing absolutely gash, I still thought we'd get back into it so wasn't panicking. You could tell they were going to get one back though - the team just stopped playing when we'd had a really good spell, and you just knew our defence wasn't going to last til the final whistle. Bad game overall though - a bit like a pearl sanwiched in shit, if you like.

i hate the whole week-end if city dont win.end of.

i know where your'e coming from, but i am content with my lot with city.

a q/f looming, another season in europe on the horizon, and the team will get there.

under pearce i was suicidal, virtually every game was shit, now we will always have hope.

very good game with 2 teams trying to play positive, attacknig , passing football

shame about the result though

I throughly enjoyed our club becoming a laughing stock, losing 3 goals to a side who had scored 2 goals in their previous away games and let in 17, losing the lead at home AGAIN and going 2 goals down to a very average team.

But most of all i enjoyed watching the manager sit on his ass and do absoulty nothing to bollock, encourage or organise the team from the touchline. I think the best entertainment had to be his tactic of putting our best left winger on the right wing and our best right winger on the left was particular enjoying to watch.

All in all a great game to watch..
