did anyone actually enjoy saturdays game

I throughly enjoyed our club becoming a laughing stock

This is one of the more amazing things I've read on this forum. I'm pretty sure that four of the top teams in the world play in the same league as ourselves - if we'd won all the games that we have supposedly thrown away we'd be ahead of these four teams and cruising towards a first league title in forty years.

Have you considered going to an optician to have your sense of perspective checked out?

What a crock of shit!

IF we would have won all our games we lost last season we would have been champions. So your point is what?

Live in the real world we can't win away or at home we cant finish off teams at home or away we are sliding down the league and hoping Liverpool dont win or we will be 7th.

Are you the one of these guys that turns up to the match desperately waiting for his first chance to moan at something? There seemed to be a few of these in the North Stand on Saturday, as soon as we'd kicked off they were moaning about players, this was 5 minutes into the game.
I'm not saying I'm happy with the result but some of the crap being spouted on here you would think we were bottom of the league!

3-2 up still going for more goals = entertainment

or sit back bore everyone
know which i'd pick
If sit back and bore everyone for the last 20 mins means we get 3 points, I'll have some of that please.

beyond it being a great typical city game, it was still a good afternoons entertainment.

but isnt that part of the deal with city, frustration for me was waiting 8 months to see a goal at home, or never going to europe, or never winning a bleeding quarter final.

i mean someone on this thread is posting city cannot win at home, i am sure we have only lost at home to fulham in this calendar year in the league, and that was due to resting players for the hamburg game.

we showed real character to get into a winning position from 2-0 down.just a shame we couldnt hold out. I hate whinging fans.i will never boo a city side or player and wont leave early either!

It was a bit of everything on Saturday.

Anticipation of sticking a few goals past the Premier League's worst travellers.
Sheer horror at going two down.
Relief as we got one back before H-T.
Delight as we cruised into the lead.
Nervousness as we failed to increase that lead.
Disbelief as they equalised.

If they hadn't got that third goal, we'd have been really pleased (if relieved at getting the win) and would have forgotten the fact that we went two down. That goal could be very important.

Can'r imagine any City fan actually "enjoyed" how it finished but it did have a bit of just about everything and MOTD did have it as first game on a day where there were some cracking games.

I would agree if it wasn't for the last 5 mins.

It was like watching a great film with a shit ending

Agreed - even when Burnley went 2 up and we were playing absolutely gash, I still thought we'd get back into it so wasn't panicking. You could tell they were going to get one back though - the team just stopped playing when we'd had a really good spell, and you just knew our defence wasn't going to last til the final whistle. Bad game overall though - a bit like a pearl sanwiched in shit, if you like.

Yeah, agree Prime, First goal doesn't faze me, it's just the last ten minutes if we haven't got a four goal lead.
