Now I don’t even know if this is possible but did anyone record ESPN's converge of the game yesterday that they could transfer to a disc ?

The reason I ask as most of you will know my lad was mascot yesterday and I forgot to set the Sky + before we left MK at 10.30am yesterday morning and with nothing much shown on MOTD I now have no footage of the young fella walking to keep other than what I filmed from above the tunnel.

I would really appreciate any help with this and cover any costs involved if it is possible to do.

I’m hoping some will know if it’s even possible – What I know about the technical side of things like right you could write on a stamp and still have plenty of room !!

-- Sun Mar 06, 2011 5:37 pm --

yep, but deleted it as soon as i
got home from the game, seeing it
once has enough for me

So that's a no then ;-)

Don't think you can get what you've recorded off your Sky+ box on to a disc.

Plus, if i remember rightly ESPN never show the teams coming out, they always cut to an advert then come back just in time for kick off

The did show them walking out as so many at home said they saw Harvey and be all accounts I made the box also waving at the young fella from above the players tunnel !!

It should be possible. I think its the same way as copying an old vhs to dvd. You do need a dvd recorder tho.

I've got a link to ESPN's coverage of the game. I'll go grab it. Once you've downloaded it to your computer you'll only need to burn it to a DVD like you would any other file, but you can play it on the computer like normal if you wish.

I can download it from tinterweb and stick it on a disc if you've not had any luck.
I'm abroad but could probably get it to you next week.
Let me know.

I can do the recoerd bit easy, but will the match be re-run again, if so I would gladly record it for you. P.S. I subcribe to ESPN so can record it at any time should it be re-run.

Ok I've got two, neither of them is ESPN's coverage but both should be just as good or exactly the same. The first one here which is standard def is from FSC which does really good pre match coverage, no adverts etc so you might be in luck with that one.

I'll let you know if I get hold of the ESPN coverage but I'd imagine these two would cover it. The standard def links will be easy to DL and watch. HD ones a bit more complicated, you'll need to DL all the files then combine them with WinRar. Let me know if the standard def version isn't good enough.

When they do the extended highlights on city TV on the os they show them coming out normally so i don't think it would be a shard ship for the club to get you a copy mate, and i am sure they would be happy to do it as well.
