It's not even started yet.
Although Hunt does have a point, but his point is the reason why the phrased was coined "Why cut off your nose to spite your face".
Also Dunnie boy will no doubt helped to change SI mind, so Hunt should not be causing ruptions between himself and the Rep Irelands Capt Mr Dunne. Hunt would do well to keep it low key.
And to answer Your point Macca I'm pissed that Neville is worming his way back into the England frame, personally I think Mr Cappello should of took me....Sadly I'm not good enough so that's hard cheese for me and hard cheese for one of the peritheral players of R Ireland if Stevie decides to re enter the Irish squad.
I not Irish, but I will be backing them tonight due to our very own Mr D and besides I have a lot of time for the Irish.
They've worked hard to get where they are, obviously there's a lot of work to be done still.
Hunt shouldn't have opened his mouth, but like there's no need for some to say what they've said about him, totally out of order.
Robbie Keane is Ireland's captain, Dunne was, couldn't tell ya now if it's Dunne or Given who's vice captain.
Backing Ireland tonight, they're not playing tonight.

Where do you think you can get off saying something like that about him? All the lad has done is say what everyone's been thinking. Like it or not, Ireland turned his back on the team, and if he does decide to suddenly change his mind people will be annoyed.
You know, wouldn't you rather a player who worked as hard as Hunt, then a player who simply just walked away.
What exactly, genuinely now, what exactly has Hunt said that has upseted ye so much?

Except it wasn't just a simple case of walking away. There are members of that Irish side that more than contributed to it and probably one was Hunt. The Irish FA should have sorted 'em out before it got too far gone but hey it's Irelands (the country!) loss becuase Superman would lift them a level whereas Hunt will show them up for what they are just now....ordinary. They'll get found out by decent sides in South Africa......

Sure they did..So the rumours say.
It's an excuse, he doesn't to play for his country, he walked away, without a word of an apology, left the team hanging, and now, he might change his mind and decide otherwise that when it looks like Ireland just might qualify for the World Cup suddenly he appears to be over the "bullying."
Hunt works himself to the bone, I'd rather that any day then someone who simply walks away, showing no heart or fight or passion, which is what this team is built on.
This Irish team isn't the best team out there, obviosuly, there isn't many top class players there that we have, with the exception of the likes of Given, Keane, Dunne..etc.
On their own most of the players on the side are good to average at best, but what seperates them from others, what makes them better as a team then they are individuals because they are willing to work for eachother, to put their bodies on the line for eachother, that's what makes the Irish team
And then there's Ireland..who walked away. As good a player he is, and believe me we all know how good he is, but this isn't a team about individuals.
Ireland's burned a lot of bridges, if he thinks it's as easy as changing his mind and deciding after the team has got this far without him, and walking back into the team like nothing happened, then he's wrong.
Now ye may not like what Hunt as said, but he was just saying what most people were thinking. Ireland gives this sense that he thinks he's more superior, that he's better then this team, he needs to get over that, and if he comes back he needs to do some serious apologizing. He's burned alot of bridges when he decided to turn his back. He needs to be the one who has rebuild them.
