So, you're in complete agreement that Arsehole Whinger BOUGHT the FA Cup, seeing as he hasn't won a trophy for 9 years and as you stated, they hadn't really spent until this (last) summer.

I don't care whether someone 'bought' something or not. The more money you spend the greater the expectation and the more you should deliver. Wenger has punched above his weight considering the quality of players he has lost. The only thing missing was maybe a Leauge Cup or FA Cup.

Funny, they mention it every game for us, every time we make a sub, every time our bench is shown, etc.

'Cos they don't like us taking the place of Arsenal, Liverpool, CFC or MANUre. This season it's MANUre's turn to sit out Euro competition so they want us to be painted in pitch and doused with a ton of feathers. So at every opportunity they tell the listening and viewing throng that we are evil and have not done things the right way. There is not the slightest attempt to paint any of the 'spending' clubs in the same light as MCFC. Suarez was a gift, Van Persie was won in a raffle, Ozil was a lucky dip granted by a generous benefactor, and Hazard just wanted to live in London and would pay his own way!

Just happened to look at the thread, because it was near the top of the forum. I don't believe in saying stupid things like a team 'bought' a trophy. It's a meaningless statement unless they actually did bribe officials. That's a different matter.

In life and football you tend to get what you pay for. The more money you spend the more successful you will be. That's why it's not surprising that Arsenal finally spent properly and finally won something.
