We only need a winger and cb id kolo and yaya go acon

I hope the lack of signings at the minute is not down to the fact that Bobby has not yet signed his new contract and that he is now being linked with the Italian International job!!!!

I remember it was Bobby who stated he wanted all signings done and dusted asap, but in the nature of football it never works that way especially with a tournament in the summer as well.

Every window we always say that we our transfer business done quickly but it never works out like that. Selling clubs are always going to play us off against other buyers until the last minute.

Bale deciding to go on holiday has, perhaps, delayed things a little?

-- Fri Jun 08, 2012 9:54 am --

Eh?

Mancini was moaning last year about getting things done early, ain't going to happen with the players we are linked with. Plus we have the added distraction of the Euros and Olympics. It is a matter of being patient irrespective what the clowns over the road or elsewhere are doing. Enjoy the summer break, stress free from football, before you know it we will be back in pre season training and all that anxiety and nerves will come flooding back. :-)

Everyone always says that. When was the last time a club announced: "We're really going to let it go down to the wire this year. Our ideal scenario is being caught in a last day bidding war..."
