Did I watch a different game to some of you?

Regardless of where we finish at the end of the season, Bobby must stay, otherwise we are going around in circles.
why on Earth should he stay if we fail to finish in top 4>?

5 th place with this kind of a team is very funny
this team can get fifth even if they don't have a manager

The hysteria is bordering on silly here, and that is coming from somebody who doesn't like Mancini at all!
Battle for 4th? Well this is city, we wouldn't do it the easy way!
Chill and put your trust in bobby until the end of the season at least.

Season starts here.

We have two trophies and a Champions League spot to compete for.

Come on City.

strange we win a game and Bobby Manc is the greatest and we will be winning the Title....lose and its sack bobby and Milner,Kolorov and everyone else is crap and bring in Mourinho.
Can we get real that was a great display yesterday and we were unlucky not to be ahead in the game. great display by the boys and if we had to lose what a goal to lose to. is our title race over? who knows we can only try and win our games and lets remember Man utd dont play at home now for 5 weeks and they are poor away from home. effectively 4 wins behind but lets say Man Utd lose 3 or draw 4 we could be right back in the race......the mentality of champions is its not over until its mathmatically over. So i believe until we cannot win it we still can.

We beat Chelsea and Liverpool and Spurs we stand a chance of taking it to the wire. Man Utd have to play Chelsea twice, Liverpool and Arsenal if they dont win any of them then we are back in the hunt. plus they now have the CL back on their agenda.

CTID...I Believe

Do you agree that if we played like yesterday every match this season we would be top 2? Or even top?

Again, unbelievably simplistic! This is the real world, real football with real opponents. If United win the league then fans of City/Arsenal/Chelsea/Spurs/Liverpool will be asking why. There can only be one winner and in Mancini's first full season it is too much too expect that we'd be winning the league this year.

I know exactly what the likes of Didsbury Dave are thinking; we've had chances this season with Arsenal/Chelsea/Liverpool slipping up whilst United now have a squad that are not as strong as they were. In simple terms had we beat Wolves, Villa, Birmingham etc then we'd have had a chance to win the league but we're not yet at the stage where we can maintain our form for long enough spells over 38 games.

Next season is the season. If we are not very close to winning the title next season then there cannot be any excuses in my opinion. This year is still very much transition and if we finish top 4 will be viewed as a good season. Winning a cup will get the monkey off our backs.

Because he is looking to the future and building a solid foundation. That is not one manager in the world I would rather have than him.

Mourinho would tear everything we've done up, remake it, turn it into Mourinho FC like he does everywhere, then quit after 1-2 seasons for the next club to attention whore at. Please stop the calls for Mourinho, he's doing no better really in a two team league than Mancini is for us.

I agree that Mourinho is a brand and may not stay for the duration at City (although I can't see where else he'd go aside from the Portuguese national side) - but he's got a proven record both in the Premiership and in Europe. It's common knowledge that he was approached before Mancini was.

The big thing I'm worried about is the players always seem to underperform for us. Milner and Barry were outstanding for villa and average for us, Yaya at barca was unplayable and for us blows hot and cold, Lescott was solid for everton and scored regularly, silva isn't as consistent as he was for Valencia, etc etc. We don't seem to get the best out of our players except for Tevez, that's worrying. You could maybe add kompany and Ndj to that but they have always been quality.

No pal, you are watching these players for 90 minutes week in week out for city, so you'll see good points and bad points. The likelihood is that you are not a multi-millionaire or premier league/ International football manager who has the time to watch most games in Europe for 90 min. either live or on tv and spend most of your time watching the blues and highlights from the other games, where you will only see outstanding contributions from these players.

This!!! to let Bobby Manc go now would be devastating to any chance of success for next year and i highly rate him as our manager. I personally am 100% behind Bobby and think he has done a great job since arriving!!.
