Right, so I've recently come down with the flu, so this may just be the Promethazine with Codeine talking, but I think the club needs to take a stricter approach with the media.

Am I wrong in saying that the media needs us a helluva lot more then we need them? Ban the twats from press conferences, interviews, etc. Don't talk to them. Make them buy their own damn tickets if they want to get in to the stadium for the games, and at the very least, sue every paper/media outlet every single time they make something up or twist information. They will soon learn not to mess with the club.

If there was something slanderous or libellous then im sure the club would take appropriate action.

As much as people might not like it, this is what the press do. We are now a MASSIVE club so of course the press are going to take more interest in us.

You're all going to need thicker skins if we are going to be successful otherwise you're going to be angry forever! It happens to all the big clubs.

Stopping talking to them only gives them more reason to write some more drivel about us and many fans rely on the media/radio etc to get news about the team.

Basically, this is what the press do, we need to get used to it, because you're giving them the reaction they want
