Did we knock Spuds out of the title race ?

I won't be surprised to see them hanging on to 4th by the end of the season, which to be fair, was probably their main aim this season anyway.

I can't see two of Chelsea Liverpool and Arsenal putting a big challenge to them, they might just slip to fourth though I think it unlikely, but hanging onto fourth is really unlikely unless Redknapp gets sent down and everything collapses.

Spurs were outsiders for the Premier League Title even before the game against Manchester City and we're even more so now.

But there's still plenty of football to be played and another 48 points to be won or lost, so it would be foolish to write-off Spurs completely.

You are quite correct and I for one will be wishing you all the good fortune in the world on March 4th

3rd or 4th, but it depends if Arsenal manage to salvage something this late on, which on their showing the other day I would not count on it, you can never discount Chelsea.

Spuds have a very hard set of games to come (after a pretty easy set where they picked up loads of points)

I am looking after Derby Stoke today for my sins – and been away for a bit recovering from a quite unpleasant and totally unexpected encounter with a sternal saw and some ribspreaders. Having said that I'm back on my feet, back at work and despite my slightly less than perfect state, reckon I could still pass a medical at the Blue Camp :) How are you mate... okay I hope?

Ooh that sounds incredibly nasty, hope you're better now mate.
I'm fine, just plodding on, currently doing a roast dinner for when my grandson invades later on.
