sam came in for a lot of stick at city and i remember being sickened by the abuse he came in for at blackburn away and had never seen a blue come in for so much stick from his own. with us very supportive especially for the young lads out their but i think he was preety shit and had the first touch of a rapist and couldnt pass water
but as he has shown in scotland we dont miss him much

Samaras is the reason why I don't watch YouTube videos about players any more.

I remember sitting on bluemoon in January 2006 being amazed that we managed to catch this wonder kid for such a small fee. Then you realise he's playing against some absolute donkeys!

I think it was a little of both, we didn't help his career AND! he wasn't very good(at this level).

I think playing up front with huntelaar helped him and made him look alot better than he was and Heerenveen were selling him to Ajax the decided to cash in on sam as well and buy alfonzo alves who was amazing there so their was another expensive dud and could prove very costly
