After seeing Uniteds squad i honestly thought we'd win it

Being honest, no. I was still on such a high from the FA Cup win and Champions League qualification, that at the start of the year I would've settled for qualifying for the CL again, and a domestic cup. Thought the League Cup would have been nice this year.

Pre season? No. I'd have taken a 2nd position and a decent tilt at the title. However when it got to Christmas and we'd been so good, and hammered pretty much everyone that were deemed a threat to us, then yes I expected we'd go on an win the Premier League. There was no way to predict just how awful our away form was going to become. What makes it so galling is that, even with just average away form, we'd have walked it. 2 wins from our last 9 away games simply isn't good enough, not for a title challenge, not even for a Champion's League qualification challenge. Our early season away form, and almost impeccable home form, have kept us where we are.

To be honest NO I thought 3rd/4th and a good cup run, set us up for next season, THEN go and win the league and carry on for the future, to be the number one in the north west.
