Just over there, behind the thingy.
I'd never heard of him and I don't want slating but I have been told that we are tying up a deal for him.
A mate of mine was working in a hotel @ the airport and overheard a conversation between 2 "rich looking guys in suits".

It's not from someone ITK just a mate working in a hotel. I had to look him up and it doesn't look like he's even played for Brazil. Does anyone know anything about him?

lmao you sure it was'nt agent smith from the matrix?

Is he any good though??
As I said I'd never heard of him. I think we were linked with every player in world when Hughes was here, as I'm sure we will be this summer.
All I can find on him is he's Brazillian/Italian striker.

Atletico Mineiro's Diego Tardelli Linked With Manchester City - Report
Another day, another link at Eastlands....
Oct 10, 2009 8:37:39 AM

Brazilian striker Diego Tardelli has been linked with Manchester City in a £7million move to Eastlands speculates Mirror Football.

Mark Hughes has already revealed the club will continue their spending spree in January as the club looks to challenge for the Premier League title.

The Atletico Mineiro playmaker is currently the leading goal scorer in the Brazilian Serie A with 14 goals to his name.

The 24-year-old has received two full caps for Brazil and was recently linked with French Ligue 1 club Saint Etienne.

He is currently under contract until 2011, but will reportedly be allowed to leave should City meet Mineiro's valuation of the player.

I think when he first came through at Sao Paolo he was tipped for great things and was expected to be the new no 10 who would make up for Kaka leaving for Milan. From memory though he had a lot of off field troubles, bit moody and a temper. I think they loaned him out to PSV in the hope he'd grow up and calm down a bit, but his career just seemed to stall. Seems he's back on track now, he played for Brazil towards the end of their world cup qualification campaign.

Tardelli is a terrible player. I live in Holland and seen this guy play for PSV and he was absolute garbage.

There is not one thing that speaks for him. No real pace, not a real finisher, useless at heading.
