In fairness he was at PSV in 2006/2007. It's like saying Forlan is useless because he was poor for the rags, but improved after. Not saying Tardelli has definitely improved but you never know. He's recently been called up for Brazil and has 4 caps since July '09. Also, if we do sign him, whose to say he won't be our fourth choice striker? We need depth as we will either be in CL or Europa League as well as all the other competitions, and the boss may want to ease Nimley and crew in slowly.
