Gundogan and Silva don't play well together. Neither of them were bad tonight but it just doesn't work for us.

Rodri was more creative than both.

We played really well. It's more likely that our finishing gets back to normal than we stop creating chances, so all is good.

Major positive is that Cancelo and Mendy got minutes. You can still see what they have to do to get to the truly desired levels, but both showcased a lot of promise.

Both Silvas on the left is too much. They get on top of each other, Aguero drifts towards them, and we end up looking unbalanced. Guardiola has tried it before and it never worked, so no surprise tonight.
