Dippers v Portsmouth tomorrow

Meh, I'm pretty used to seeing us bounce up and down now. Like you say we'll have a few games in hand so no doubt 6th will only be a temporary spot for us.
 
It matters not what other teams do, we win, we get fourth, regardless of what Liverpool, Tottenham or Villa do.

I wouldt worry about it, even Liverpool should beat portsmouth although a draw wouldnt be unexpected given the way liverpool have played lately, next week Liverpool play the rags and we play fulham so I think we would be favourites to leapfrog back.
 
We've just taken 4 points from two tough away grounds: Stamford Bridge and SOL and you're wondering what Liverpool will do at home to Pompey?

It's in our hands, and the fixtures are being knocked off one by one

Pressure is on, but even more so on Liverpool, Villa and Spurs. They have to better our results

Next weekend I think Liverpool go to Utd. It's coming up anyway. let's see if they can win away, or even pick up a point.
 
Don't count on Liverpool winning tomorrow, they were dreadful against Wigan last week and will be nervous of another humiliation v Pompey, who have nothing to lose so may as well go all out,
 
the fact that we are having to look at other teams for help shows that we are not good enough at the moment for 4th.....our standard of football is just not going to get us there

we need to go out and beat the likes of sunderland, fulham (who were beaten easily by utd today) not just gain a point here and there.....

if we dont take control the likes of spurs will

Fulham beat United 3-0 you cannot slag teams off
 
Pompey are OK going forward, but they can't defend. It will be a huge shock if Liverpool fail to beat them. But I suppose if they don't get an early goal the pressure will start to mount

It's the away games that are tough in the Premiership. Look at the top 3. They have all lost a lot of games away from home. The difference between City and the top 3 is that we struggle to win games away from home. It was quite encouraging that we made so many chances away from home today. The results away from home have improved.

yes it is in our hands.....and we are messing it up and unless mancini changes his tactics we will end up losing out

Sunderland have lost only 2 at home. Fulham are very good at home. These teams are rubbish away from home

Did you see Arsenal at Hull? Hull had 10 men for over 45 mins and it took an injury time mistake by their keeper for Arsenal to win.

We are improving. Our away form used to be an embarrassment. it is not any more. Points per game, we are as good as Spurs and the League table does not lie at this moment

I'd like to see Spurs take 4 points at Chelsea & Sunderland

to be honest like some on here i believe a point away at sunderland is an ok result. However what is wrong with me is this......the players we have are not playing at their full potential,,,,this has nothing to do wth lack of ability or effort....but it has everything to do with the way the manager is setting up the team and the tactics he is employing.....they are wrong!
