Re: Liverpool were awful tonight..

Yh i was watching it they are so awful without Torres if they dont have him they are an average team at best. All we have to be careful off is Gerrard accidentally falling over in the penalty area.

Re: Liverpool were awful tonight..

So we're allowed to state the bleeding obvious and say a rival team isn't playing well, even when they're winning games, but we're not allowed to state the bleeding obvious and say City aren't playing well? How does that work?

So how did Unirea keep Liverpoool at bay tonight, only conceed the one goal despite Liverpool having pretty much all the posession and battering them?

apart from Liverpool being average, they did what we never ever do, and that's closing down and getting in the face of the players, tonight they worked just as hard off the ball than they did on it, they closed down and made Liverpool play quicker and constantly put them under pressure,

backing off and not putting pressure on the opponents is something we fail to do, and we've never looked like changing, you get in the faces on the Liverpool players and it will help big time, we stood off against Stoke both home and away recently, we stood off pompey and lucky we didn't go 3-0 at the break,

lesson to be learnt here, same with arsenal, get in their faces then you have just as much chance of winning the game, get at Liverpool sunday and make them work hard with the ball and we'll do it.

It was almost as exciting as watching Manchester City pay Stoke. After our last performance I don't see how you're so confident.
they're consistently playing just as bad or worse in some cases
