It does, doesn't it. Look like one of those ends in Poland, Italy, Greece, Turkey, etc.

OK, the atmosphere died last night after Villareal scored first, and only 20 of their supporters made the trip.

But use your imaginations and picture that in a PL game, minus the cards, with 111, 110 and 109 taking the place of the away blocks.

Sadly I've been told and shown why the away fans can't be moved currently, but hopefully one day both singing sections will come together in the South Stand and replicate that scene, with added atmosphere for every Pl game.

jrb thanks for putting that up, was going to do it myself but no probs.

I thought the South Stand looked great before the game last night - I think having the Ends Rocking is really important in a stadium - but normally the South Stand is emasculated by having the Away Fans blocking out nearly half of it, and the North Stand, well, its the North Stand with kids etc so will never get there.

I guess its a Spiral/Access problem with shoving the Away Fans onto Tier 3?

Looks good though.

Why do you want away fans making noise, helping to spur on their team against us?

This.

Are we that bereft of passion these days that we're more concerned with slagging off the away fans? Away fans should add to the atmosphere, not be the catalyst for the home support.

I personally hate seeing half the SS either empty (because the away fans haven't bothered turning up) or full when most others clubs have their away sections out of sight and out of mind. Stick them in the nosebleeds and have the first two tiers full of Blues all the way around.

It's nothing that couldn't be solved with a little bit of additional planning,
e.g. allowing 206-210 to go in through spiral G or the south stand entrances or even spirals R and T at the south west corner,
and allow L3 to go in through any of the three "home" E spirals (is it C E and G?)

The fences outside have been erected for the purpose of segregating fans where necessary, although it's usually left wide open for most games. Re-jig the fences so they segregate fans safely into the third spiral, and it all becomes much simpler. No need to move the away car park, etc. It's never a problem at grounds like Villa Park where the away fans pour out onto the street, why is it supposed to be such a problem at CoMS?

It would of course be much more of a problem for some fixtures, e.g. if it's a quarter final and we have to give the away fans up to 25% of the total seats. Not sure E3 is anywhere near big enough and you couldn't easily put the away fans in CB3.

I keep asking but no one has replied.

If we have South Stand full of BLUES, would we kick that way 2nd half.

So, my question is , what games have we played kicking that way.

Do we always win the toss or do the opposition want to kick that way second half and we want to kick that way first half, so there is no need to toss the coin??
