Discussion: Manuel Pellegrini 2014/15 (continued)

I might believe that triple sack story if it was just Pellegrini, but I just can't see why they'd sack Soriano. He may be a twat for constantly fleecing the fans with price hikes (if that's his responsibility) but I don't see what he could have done better on the financial side. The black mark of course is failing FFP but the impression seems to be that UEFA screwed us over and it wasn't his fault.

Oh f***, I wish I never posted it. :-? I'll put it down to post derby day depression. More than likely not true, but if it does pan out that way, you heard it here first.

I thinks it says it all when both Mancini and Pellegrini, two managers with completely different styles, both had the same problem of players putting no effort in.

Pellegrini has been far too stubborn with 4-4-2 at times this season, but the players are a bigger problem than the manager.

Still waiting for that Mangala chap to start a big game.

He looks like a baby elephant running around that's lost its mother

40 games into a season and still no fucker has a clue about him.
Guessing you missed his debut then? I'd consider Chelsea at home a big game.

Think about the decline in Zabaleta and Kompany's performances this season caused by the lack of protection and attention Pellegrini's tactics give to the defence. Now consider that it's having the same effect on Mangala. He'll be one hell of player once he's playing consistently in a side that has some form of defensive know how.

I can post the list of big games he hasn't started if you like mate.
You could, not that it would matter one bit as your original comment was "Still waiting for that Mangala chap to start a big game".

"A" being the key word.

Chelsea was "a" big game.

The biggest question is who is coming in to replace both Soriano and Begiristain.

Had to check it, but its true, United only scored more than 3 goals in a game the second time this season.

In September they did beat QPR at home 4-0, and since than only today they score at least 4 goals. They needed to fucking meet Pellegrini's defence organizing skills to score 4...
