5 losses in the last 12 league games. But hey, we beat a midtable team from Spain and a half decent gladbach side and also beat a palace second string and an understrength Hull team in the cups. Must be doing well.

I do not think even the most ardent blue would say we are doing well. Just that most see Pelligini has hit his limits now and although high we need that bit more.
That we have to wait for and until then we need to perk up no doubt but we are not in dire trouble yet.

I don't think people are taking into account the fine dynamics that happen and affect a team, injuries for one have not been kind to us.
Yes it is poor we rely on Kompany so much but it is not like we have not tried to address the issue is it.

Are we going to lose our shit every time a difficult period hits us? others can lose their shit but i will save that for when we are in free fall and top players want out.

How long ago was it he won the league again?

Look he is a damn fine manager but the fact it was 2003/4 maybe shows how fucking hard it is to do.

Pellegrini must have got incredibly lucky eh in his first year?

Spot on. He inherited the best set of players in the PL. And to give him credit he got us over the line. All down hill since then though despite huge investment on the playing side.

Wenger won as many PL titles in his first 2 years as Pellegrini has. What do you base 'Pellegrini > Wenger' on exactly?

Lucky enough to have gotten a title winning squad, £90m+ to spend and Slippy's short studs I suppose.

He hasn't stamped his name or authority on the squad or club, in effect as of right now he's a caretaker manager. Performing currently as 99% of them do.

I see stuff like this posted time and time again as a stick to beat him with and its ridiculous.

Of course he inherited a great squad, thanks to our owner might i add rather than the work of a genius as you will try to make out.

He also spent money, again thanks to our owner and something that first Hughes and then Bob also did.

if it is that easy, why didn't Bob get his title winning side over the line again and why didn't he win the FA Cup against Wigan?

Its all so black and white for some on here when the truth couldn't be further form it.

No, what's "black and white" is the constant;

"You said something negative about him, you hate him. You're still bitter about Mancini, I'm not going to bother with you or when I do I'll just edit your posts and address what I want and ignore the rest..." You can't criticise or possibly dislike the manager without an ulterior motive seemingly.

You've asked 2 questions regarding Mancini there yet you're one of the very first to remind people how acrimonious it was behind the scenes with staff and players, so do you see how your "black and white" questions don't exactly hold any water? You can't have it both ways.

What I see posted all the time is "we're still in 4 competitions.." does that tell the whole story? No, in fact, once again it's too black and white from you.
