Ahhh the typical "must be a gloryhunter because i've dared to say something negative about the team" response. I've not missed a game all season so far, i don't think i'll jump ship to leicester just yet. Thanks for the advice though.

We're by no means in dire trouble, and i wouldn't say me or others that want the manager gone are losing their shit because of a difficult period. It's more about recognising we're nowhere near reaching the full potential of this side, and the overriding factor in why that's the case is our manager. He's just not up to standard, we have world class players, world class facilities world class everything but an above average manager that's hindering the team.

I'm not happy with seeing us effectively throw away the chance of silverware this year by keeping him in charge until Pep comes in the summer.

I see where you are coming from, i really do. You are assuming though a change will herald the up turn in player mentality we need and it is not a sure thing by a long way.
I think it more risky to change now and have Pep walk into total disillusion. We are still in with a shout of winning it to remember we are not even outsiders to the title but right in the mix.

I accept he has found his ceiling as a manager but he is still good enough to keep us going until summer imo.

Kompany being out has really hurt our defence, and you have to say we have not ignored the issue it just has not worked out as well as we hoped so far.

Saying stuff like "effectively chucking away our chances at silverware" though does seem a bit over the top as a statement though tbh, to many assumptions in that opinion tbf bud.

I have no idea what you are going on abt. You do realise that newish posters can still post that they don't rate the manager. Ive read allsorts of stuff on the manager from **** to waste of space

Sooner he's gone for me the better we wil be, you cannot keep coming on here saying posters will eat their words when we win the league going by current form, then again i hope your post comes true to be honest and everyone does have egg on their face.

I've been here for years.

Pellegrini is a useless ****.

I've asked these questions a couple of times already in this thread but not had an answer to them. I guess those who still think Pellegrini is doing a good job must have missed them ;-)

However, I notice there's a few of you around at the moment so I'd really appreciate your thoughts...

Of those players who were here when Pellegrini took over, who has improved?

Of those who have come in since he got here, how many have improved from what they showed at their previous club?

I'd say the most consistent player is dinho the rest have been/are shit except kdb ota sterling and sagna

Yesterday wasn't a terrible performance or result. What was disappointing was that we must have had more preparation time than for any game this season, but still didn't seem any better prepared than after a Wed-Sat turnaround. And no plan to contain Ozil.

Agree.

The bit about vinnie, if our defence is struggling surely you'd set the team up in a way in which we'd defend better as a team but he does the opposite and throw in all attacking players on the pitch and leave dinho to help out our shite cb pairings.

I see stuff like this posted time and time again as a stick to beat him with and its ridiculous.

Of course he inherited a great squad, thanks to our owner might i add rather than the work of a genius as you will try to make out.

He also spent money, again thanks to our owner and something that first Hughes and then Bob also did.

if it is that easy, why didn't Bob get his title winning side over the line again and why didn't he win the FA Cup against Wigan?

Its all so black and white for some on here when the truth couldn't be further form it.

Well he won it once and everyone knew what happened the day of the final against Wigan, apart from you it seems. What's Manuel done in the FA cup? Bugger all is the answer. As for not getting over the line the season after winning the league well Pellegrini is going for the double there.

One area where Pellegrini has done better is in Europe.

Is this the same as a league title is only valid if he wins it by 10 clear points?

What an absolute load of bollocks.

Fuck me, the lunatics have taken over the asylum on here.
It's really not hard to figure out. When he took over we were defensively sound under Mancini and that carried through for that season. The more he's got his claws into the squad the worse we have gotten
