Great to see someone else recognises the months of preparation that will have gone on so that the deals are done with agents and players before getting involved with the clubs

This is why Txiki has got CITY a clear run at players and why the only option for the selling club is to try and play hardball - because there is no competition and therefore no auction - that is real skill unlike the Trafford accountant who can only buy items off the 'past their sell by date' shelf.

Txiki went close with Pogba as well - addressing the CM issue that the tart that whinges but admits he knows fuck all says is the priority

My son is 9 and only known a successful City. I'm trying to educate him so he knows how amazing this time is but as a fully sold up member of the FIFA generation all he's interested in is knowing what rating Id give The Goat.

The only reason I might have to feel disappointed with Txiki this summer is in the time it's taken to get the deals done but that's only because I've been reading on here about KDB and Pogba for weeks so it's a completely false position. Remember it took Madrid ages to do the Bale and Ronaldo deals and everything gets put in perpective. Gone are the quick fix transfers of previous summers and it feels like we are building a squad of real substance
 
Was surprised to see that this thread has not been added to recently.

Recognising the quality and integrity of personality of our fans I would have expected to see an orderly queue to be forming to set right some of the unfounded criticism that was so casually dished out in the last few weeks.

I know - they are all just waiting for the formal signature before lining up for a large slice of Humble Pie. I would paste a picture of a pie in if I knew how.
