Disgraceful MOTD coverage

what a breath of fresh air this post was to me I thought I was being to biased on MOTD, I know B-ansen is a scot/pool man but he was acually siding with the blue half of pool, the other muppet laro is getting paid just to look stupid. B-ansen is the BIGGEST joke on any footballing programe

Did you know Alan Hansen gets paid £1.4m a year to be a pundit on Match of the Day?

Disgraceful is an understatement.

That's just shy of 30grand a week, 4grand every day, that cannot be right surely?

What does he actually do to earn that sort of wedge. I mean he obviously hadn't watched our games and someone else writing his scprits. So for our 1.4 million quid we get guy who hasen't played for 25 years and shit out at becoming a manager telling us how it is..... yep just keep repeating your crap Alan

And people complain when we pay players a decent wedge. That is just ludicrous!

Where's that link to BBC Complaints again? I've been cynical as to fast-forwarding the shit inbetween but when I'm paying for it at least I should have a say.

its definitely not right.

The corporation's annual report showed that at least seven presenters, actors and journalists were paid more than £1 million last year.

Their fees were disclosed in July in the most detailed breakdown the broadcaster has published of payments made to celebrities such as Graham Norton, Chris Evans and Anne Robinson.

The corporation still refuses to disclose the exact figures for payments to its "talent" but agreed to disclose the number of on–screen staff who fall within a range of salary bands.

The figures show that the BBC paid 53,370 presenters, actors and journalists a total of £212.6million last year, down from £221.5million in 2009.

Of those, 19 earned more than £500,000, but the corporation refuses to disclose any salary brackets above that. However, from the information given, it can be determined that seven or nine celebrities earn between £1million to £5 million.

i doubt hansen falls into this category of 7-9 celebrities, when you take jonathan ross (5m/yr), graham norton (2m/yr) & jeremy paxman (1m/yr)

When's the last time Hansen watched a match live other than sat in the directors box at Anfield with his hand on Ian Rush's cock.

He's a busted flush as an analyst and I found it unbelievable the lack of fuss they made about Milner's goal. Silva evaded 3 defenders and under pressure he produced the most sublime pass you'll ever see.

I suspect MOTD is going down the Sky road of pandering to the club with the most armchair supporters. The opening credits are a virtual video homage to the rags and I can see no reason why the BBC should be biased against City other than that it pleases the plastic cunts sat in Somerset and Belfast.

Bit like the the Neville situation at sky for me.
Sit back and revel in it is my take.

They move up to media city very shortly and will have City rammed down their throats day in
And day out.
Their u turn is inevitable.

Absolutely agree , Silva did brilliantly.

If that had of been Rooney those pundits would have been wetting their knickers over it for hours!
