This and absolutley this.

Me and the lad were there today ad the game was dire. I really cannot for the life of e understand RM's selection and substitution policies
The selection was what most fans have been calling for ie Silva and AJ

I was a bit surprised we didn't play Richards and Adebayor ie use some fresh legs but it turned ot Adebayor was injured.

Tevez was struggling with a thigh injury hence that sub. We had to change it at 0-0 with City visibly tiring, and the bench wasn't that strong so the subs didn't look great, but what options were there?

So how come Stoke, with their limited squad, scored against them then ??

I didn't boo at half time or full time. But I certainly did when he took off Tevez for Barry as did most of the rest of the ground.

The one thing we expect as City fans is that we give it a go. We love a trier like Dickov or Goater. We love someone like Andy Morrison, who took the side by the scruff of the neck by sheer force of character. None of them outstanding footballers in any conventional sense but all of them crowd favourites because they never gave up. We all love Tevez & De Jong in the current squad because they're the natural successors to the Goat, Dickov & Morrison. They make the side tick (and look how we missed them when they were both out at Wolves).

And then we see a gutless, shithouse of a manager take off a player like that and replace him with a defensive midfield player when we're 0-0 against a side in 17th place with a few minutes to go.

There's all sorts of glib talk about the fans being the soul of the club but it's true and today we were trying to save that soul. That's why we boo and we've every fucking right because that Italian tosser is taking away what makes us City.
as far as i remember i've never boo'd a city team but i'm trying to find a reason to disagree with you sorry i can't

If you were 4th position in the sales team from 20 staff, you would be doing a good job, but there is room for improvement to attain No1 spot.

You have many disadvantages, the boss doesnt like you, the personell team hates you and even some of your customers despise you. You have a history of not achieving as a company.

Even though you have a new product and still waiting for new products to arrive be complete, you are building and learning to be the Finished product.

As long as you stay within the grasp of the top spot you juggle, jump, play nasty, until you are fully loaded then push hard.

Christ that post went haywire

Rastus, this is quite a good (different) way of putting your point across and I respect your view, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

My opinion is that Mancini's tactics are very hard to watch at the moment and even my 10 yr old son is pissed off. I have never slagged him off until wednesday's nonevent, we played for a draw against a poor Utd side and today took the biscuit.
Two holding midfielders against a shite non-attacking side, bringing a tall striker on for somebody who could have at least supplied some ammunition for him to work from, FFS, please take the fucking shackles off some our more attacking midfielders/defenders.

I didn't boo at half-time even though the first half was terrible, but the substitutions were very bad decisions, therefore I was uncontrollably venting my disgust at the Tevez departure (although may have been forced).

Mancini has had a full close-season to get the players he wanted/needed so there are no excuses for the squad he is fielding. Everyone is pretty much fit and supposedly raring to go, yet the performances/line-ups are so negative its unbelievable.

I don't want the manager out, I just want him to to let the players impose their abilities on mediocre oppostion (no real disrespect to Brum) and have a good go at teams, let them play.

I think the Derby had a lot to do with it, and the injured/suspended forwards. Also I expect Birmingham were a bit more ambitious in midweek. They just put every man behind the ball today and frustrated us. If you go on results so far this season, rather than this month, we're not doing so bad. We're only 3 points behind United and arguably playing better than they are at the moment (Wolves, the Derby, Villa today) yet some .of you seem to have totally lost the plot

I never boo but i did today out of pure frustration,i think the problem is after spending all this money we still havnt got a player who can beat a man, when a team sets up like birmingham did today that is what you need,it creates space and causes mayhem. The underlying factor is apart from johnson we have no one with pace to get round the back of defences, and johnsons final ball is shocking.
Plus what the fook is going on at corners, never look like scoring from set plays.Mancini needs to smell the fat and start reflecting on what he is doing wrong, because he must be made accountable for 5 hours without a goal at home.He needs some positive reflection and to start telling a different story than the one he is telling at the moment. Our team is better set up to play away and the points prove this,so why the fook cant he see he needs to change the formation at home and stop being so fooking stubborn.

Fucking embarasment. we played a attacking team that to me is the one that manchini and most blues want to see starting but because we did not beat a team fantasticly organised team 84-0 he should get that sack.

No 1-0 with £109.5m of attack minded talent on the pitch during that game would have been nice, especially as we beat this fantastically organised team 5-1 in the corresponding fixture last season without £84m of new, supposedly better talent...

something tells me that even without a "I demand we win every game because we spend loads of money" mentality that we should have comfortably won that game without any questions asked.

The team sheet means fuck all if the players on it don't play well and we turn out an utter shite performance, even the kids + jo & RSC away at WBA in the cup managed a goal.

United got beat 1-0 by Burnley last season maybe Baconface should of been sacked?
