No one was talking about money when the scum was the only biggest spenders they were lauding it and for me it’s them fans who moan more about it now and are blinkered to there own club who have spent billions cheat now and still look like spending 150m+ one the biggest moaning whinging supporters out there utter bellends!

I've read this about 10 times, and each time it makes less sense.
To be clear though, I'm not moaning about City. I'm talking about football in general. Jordan Henderson getting £700k a week, FFS!
I think it might just be you and me OP. We may have won the treble but that just brings on more greed. A game in Athens in August. No fucker would choose that as a venue at that time of year. Mind you who'd pick Saudi Arabia ?
Fifa battling it out with Uefa all because of money. Extra games in the Champs League to stave off a super league.

I confess I'm part of the problem. The game is being ruined by money (as it has been for over 100 years) and instead of protesting I went absolutely bugshit with joy at both Wembley and Ataturk Stadium. Sorry.

Thing is I don’t care about money and who spends what never did when the scum spent shitloads under bacon! and paying Sachez 500k a week to turn his head yeah the scum again as per usual! Teams and clubs can spend what they want on wages and players I don’t care let them pay Mbappe 3m a week Henderson a 1m a week I don’t care let them!

I was just as excited as everybody else on this forum to have won the Treble - but like you say, it is just going to result in the players demanding bigger wages (I dread to think what their bonus was for winning 3 trophies - as if they need a f**king bonus)!
I do take comfort in the fact that I don't contribute penny toward it though! I can't afford to go to matches, I haven't bought a shirt since 2012, and I don't pay for Sky or BT Sport - I just give some random bloke £30 a year to subscribe to his dodgy firestick service!

I completely understand the OP's point and I agree with him, wholeheartedly. However, we are not politicians: we have no say on what goes in our own country. Technically, we are a democracy and therefor we should have more of a say: but even though we vote these politicians in to do the jobs they promise us in their respective manifestos, they very very seldom deliver on their promises.
So when the likes of Prince Andrew climbs out of his state-funded private helicopter and hops into his chauffeur-driven Limousine to take in a 'spot of golf' in Barbados, or whatever, the starving and the homeless can die on the streets and there is absolutely nothing the likes of us can do about it.
We should think about what's happening on our own doorsteps first rather than concern ourselves with the Saudi's throwing millions and millions of pounds at ex-footballers who are already millionaires anyway.
It's the way of the world. Always has been. But as I said, I understand the OP's viewpoint and it breaks my heart to see such financial disparity in the 21st century, but most of us are not gun-toting' Che Guevara's so we are helpless to intervene.
And the fat cats are well and truly aware of it.

We live in an age where everybody is a celebrity - if footballers earn as much as Hollywood stars so be it.
Where's the outcry when we see the likes of a bikini clad Margot Robbie diving off the back of a super yacht? ;)

Today's players are far removed from society I agree. It's not their fault blame the insatiable appetite the scumbag British media have convinced the gullible masses that they really NEED - did they even WANT it in the first place?
It's the modern world and we aren't going to change it.
I actually snapped at my GLW the other day because she was banging on about some City players holiday pictures she was looking at on some shite website or other she's on.
You do make a valid point I totally agree but, I suppose as a FOC I am living in the here and now and still bouncing around after last season like a loon.
How do you know though that they're not doing good things away from the public glare? Mark Noble was often suspected of being a very humble and generous sole when he was playing as was Craig Bellamy - they didn't bang on about it.
I work with a neighbour of the young girl who is battling cancer and works at City - Pep, his family & the club have been extremely supportive.
Using your clubs PR machine to further your 'image' works for certain teams/players maybe the City lads prefer to do things under the radar - for instance Gundo visiting an old folks home on Charlestown Road hardly got any coverage outside of City.
Just one question though - if you won the lottery would you want publicity?
I know I wouldn't.

Felt disillusioned with the game for a good few seasons now.
Its been largely taken away from the classes it was invented to entertain.
Money has had a bitter/sweet effect,FFP a fucking joke,and politics definitely aren't welcome in the game and don't mix at all well........but its the antics and the cheating and the constant interference of inept officials that has pissed me off most.
