I have to admit i don't get it. Looks like a chernobyl theme park to me so not sure why anyone would want to spend time and money walking round it.

To be fair, im no advocate of Modern Art in any sense, generally. But for £3 seeing works by Banksy and Damian Hirst amongst others (albeit artists ive never heard of) isnt to be sniffed at.

Im not sure what there is to "get"? Its not an actual theme park, but set up that way with galleries and live pieces dotted around. Seemingly, there is a suggestion that a large portion of the money collected will go back into the unit that houses the show, which sadly has remained derelict on the front for at least 20 years.

On the last point @Gelsons Dad , it isnt ironic alone, but certainly some of the pieces are putting social statements forward in an ironic manner. The show uses themes about money, equality and morality. As before, im not into art usually but I did find this provoking my thought processes somewhat, which for a Luddite like me was quite remarkable.

Has anyone been to this? I bought a ticket off a tout but I believe they're asking people for photo ID

It'd be a sickener to travel all that way and not get in.
