causing trouble down at pompey, 'nothing new' he wants asurance pompey invest in players or he's off, will he be back? would you have him?
No. Rather make a bid for Upson. Distin seems to be a centre half version of Anelka; never hanging around at a club for too long. No question, he was brilliant for us with Dunney, but it's time to move on.

A bit unfair, he spent a good few years with us before leaving. That said the sounds he's making now seem familiar. And no, I wouldn't have him back, he was good but not what we need now.

Er, I did say he was brilliant for us?

I'd have him back in a shot. He was a good player for us and he won more in a season than we have in 30 years.

Will always remember the great goal Distin scored at Villa, but wouldn't want him back now. Would take Glen Johnson though, much improved player over the last year or so.

Adams was the cheap option as manager, and it will ruin any chance of a career he had in the game.

Sadly, for Mr. Adams, I think the drinking issues have already done that and this is his one shot to rebuild a career is a top flight manager.

Correct. But the only reason he got the job is that the compo they got for Arry paid for Adams wages for the length of his contract.

Pompey have a small squad and no youth policy, so once they flog the family silver next week they will have clowns filling positions ( like Glen Little ).

Basket case of a club, and the likes of Distin are the last people you would want fighting for you in that situation.

I agree, as it stands I think it will be WBA, Portsmouth and one other than go down and I wouldn't bet against a Div1 Derby in 2 years between Portsmouth and Southampton

You're right - only lasted 5 years with us! I'd have him back and Johnson as well.

I agree, I'd have him back. Made Dunne look twice the player he is at times. The left side of CD has suffered since he left. Class player who got undeserved stick from some sections of City fans.

Yeah; and Dunne has been with us what, 7 or 8 years now. The whole point of this thread, looking at the title, is Distin's perceived lack of loyalty to his clubs. Distin left us because of a lack of ambition on our part. Now he's using the same excuse at Pompey.
