Division 2 Play-off Final ... I was there

Nearly pissed down my leg try to rush back in after Horlock got the first. Got back into a seat not my own to see Dicky send us into extra time. Out of all the penalties I only remember Edgills which was an absolute cracker nearly broker the net.

I remember very little else after that only staggering out of some ropey pub where the Hyde supporters club met in and it being daylight and little recolection of the between then and getting back on the coach at Wembley

I wasn't there.

Going so far for a Div 3 match was not to my liking and I knew City would win.

And I was right.

I gave my ticket to a Manchester born relative who lives down south. She left at 2-0 to Gillingham.

Did we play Scarbourough pre season the year were in Div 2 ? Can remember a few Leeds fans after the game telling us how we no longer a big club .

Eh it went in off the bar.

Five pages in and nobody has asked the op exactly why I would have cause to tell anyone whether I was there or not.
Am I supposed to?
I mean,I was there, but do I need to inform complete strangers of this pretty useless and random piece of information to prove my blue credentials?
And,if so,how many times per season should I do it?
Are there any other key games that I need to tell folk I don't even know that I was there too?
Truly bizarre.

WYCOMBE was the only occassion I can remember the home fans changing Ends at half time

really brought home the fact we were floundering in the lower divisions

they all moved down the stand to be at the end wycombe were attacking god I rember standing there think is this really how low my beloved City had fell ?

Isn't this what people do at our home cup ties nowadays?

Got to say, that puzzled me too.

All my mates were at the playoff, why is it a big deal?
