I am regrouting my bathroom today. Bought a kit from B&Q but it's not much good at getting the old grout out. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get old grout out??? Thanks!

not an easy one in my experience, those metal "rake" type things arent much cop so I usually have resorted to the dremmel, but you have to be careful not to chip the tiles. I have yet to find a effective grout softening agent.
* Acetic Acid 32 % may help, it will dissolve the lime but ive not tried it.

Only came here to take the piss out of the O.P but since saw the words, “grout softening agent” so will take the piss out of him instead. Hats off to the pallet one.
