I think being born blind and knowing no different is ok but going blind after you have been able to see must be terrifiying,i look at blind people out with their dogs and i think how the fuck are you managing that,it would be the end of me

Can deaf people hear their own thoughts?

Profoundly deaf people normally think in images, and those are represented by BSL.
Actually took part in a study of Deaf peoples dreams when I worked as a bsl interpreter.

Of course those deaf people who use more English within their language, or have residual hearing have a different psychology.
